• Product Type: Selemix 7-410 is a 2K (two-component) epoxy topcoat designed for industrial and automotive finishing applications.
• Application: Suitable for use on properly prepared metal surfaces, including steel and aluminium, providing excellent resistance to chemical exposure and mechanical wear. Often used over Selemix epoxy primers for optimal adhesion and performance.
• Volume: Supplied in a 3.5 kg kit.
• Composition: Epoxy resin-based system, requiring a compatible hardener (sold separately) to activate the chemical curing process.
• Finish: Offers a smooth, semi-gloss to gloss finish depending on application conditions and mixing ratio.
• Drying Time: Touch dry in approximately 2–4 hours at 20°C. Full cure typically achieved in 5–7 days, or faster if force dried.
• Resistance: Excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and moisture once fully cured, making it suitable for harsh environments.
• Application Method: Can be applied by spray. Proper surface preparation and primer layer strongly recommended.
