Octoral PW170 Wash/Etch Primer 2k 1L

PW170 Washprimer is a wash/etch primer. Mixed 1:1 with Octoral H170 hardener.

• Product Type: Octoral PW170 Wash/Etch Primer, 2K (two-component) formulation.
• Volume: Supplied in a 1-liter container.
• Mixing Ratio: Must be mixed 1:1 by volume with Octoral H170 Hardener prior to application.
• Intended Use: Designed as a primer for use in automotive refinishing systems, particularly suitable for bare metal substrates such as steel and galvanized steel. Provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance.
• Application Surface: Apply only to clean, dry metal surfaces free from rust, oils, and other contaminants. Not suitable for use on plastic or previously painted surfaces without prior treatment.
• Composition: Contains phosphoric acid and active corrosion-inhibiting agents for etching and priming bare metal surfaces in one step.
• Drying Time: Typically fast-drying; allow sufficient flash-off and curing time as per technical data sheet recommendations before overcoating.
• Storage Information: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature is between 5°C and 35°C in sealed original packaging.
• Safety & Handling: Contains solvents; flammable liquid. Use in a well-ventilated area with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for full safety guidance.
• Environmental Information: Dispose of in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations. Do not pour into drains or waterways.
