The Octobase System is a high quality solvent basecoat system that needs to be finished with a clear coat. The system consists of a full range of mixing colours that enables you to mix metallic, pearl and solid colours. 1 x Solvent Tinter for Octoral Octobase Mixing Scheme.

• Product Type: Solvent-based metallic tinter for automotive basecoat systems.
• Product Use: Designed exclusively for use within the Octoral Octobase Mixing System. Used to create very coarse metallic automotive finishes as part of a solvent basecoat system. Must be finished with a compatible clear coat.
• Volume: 1 litre container.
• Finish Type: Metallic – Very Coarse. Produces a bold metallic effect with larger reflective pigments for enhanced visual depth.
• Application Surface: Suitable for use on properly prepared and primed metal substrates as part of a professional automotive refinishing process.
• Composition: Solvent-based pigment concentrate; contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
• Mixing Ratio: For mixing with Octoral Octobase binder in specified ratios depending on color formula (refer to Octoral color formulation guide).
• Topcoat Requirement: Requires overcoating with a clear coat to ensure durability, gloss, and UV protection.
• Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Recommended storage temperature: 15–30°C.
• Safety Information: Flammable liquid. Use in a well-ventilated spray booth with appropriate PPE. Avoid skin and eye contact. Follow all health and safety guidelines provided in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
• Environmental Notes: Contains solvents. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations. Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
