- Product Type: Max Meyer Duralit TC28 Sun Yellow is a 2K tinter used in the formulation of solid colour topcoats within the MaxMeyer Duralit Car automotive refinishing system.
- Application: Designed for use as part of the Duralit 2K direct gloss system. TC28 tinters are intended only for professional use in automotive body shops to formulate custom colours based on the MaxMeyer mixing scheme.
- Volume: Supplied in a 1 litre can.
- Compatible Systems: Used exclusively with the MaxMeyer Duralit Car 2K direct gloss topcoat mixing system.
- Surface Suitability: Suitable for application over primed and properly prepared metal or previously painted automotive bodywork.
- Composition: Solvent-borne (solvent-based) polyurethane acrylic tinter, intended for mix use – not usable as a standalone paint.
- Performance Features: Offers high gloss retention, excellent chemical resistance, and colour stability under various environmental conditions.
- Mixing Guidance: Must be combined with specified Duralit 2K hardeners and thinners according to the MaxMeyer colour formula guidelines. Not to be used on its own.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Ideal storage temperature: 5–35°C.
- Safety and Environmental Info: Contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Flammable liquid and vapour. Use PPE including gloves, goggles, and respiratory protection during application. Dispose of any waste material in accordance with local environmental regulations.
