HB Body 1K Etch Primer Grey Aerosol 400ml

Fast drying anticorrosive primer. Suitable for all metal substrates as galvanized, stainless steel, aluminium, and bare metal.

• Application: Designed for direct application onto bare metal surfaces including aluminium, galvanised steel, stainless steel, and other metal substrates.
• Key Properties: Fast-drying, anticorrosive primer formulated to promote adhesion and protect metal surfaces from corrosion.
• Composition: Contains acid for etching properties; typically solvent-based formulation. Intended for professional automotive refinishing use.
• Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from rust, grease, and dust before application. Lightly abrade surface for best results.
• Application Method: Shake well before use. Apply in light, even coats from a distance of 20–30cm. Allow to flash off between coats.
• Drying Time: Touch dry in approximately 10–15 minutes at 20°C (subject to film thickness and ambient conditions).
• Overcoating: May be overcoated with most paint systems after complete drying. Recommended to test compatibility with topcoat.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and ignition sources. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.
